Supposed Vet’s COVID Concerns Have My Blood Boiling

Dear Editor,

You know, I have recently tried to improve my attitude about people and then someone comes along and raises my blood pressure! I’m referring to an article in Yellowstone County News on 3-10-23. This opinion piece, and we all have an opinion, but I try not to force mine onto other people like this guy did, and it’s over the top.

He writes about blood banks and the blood being contaminated because people who get the COVID vaccines donated blood. He rambles on about how this blood could kill you if you needed a transfusion. He needs to retire his opinion pieces and go be with the little animals. (He is a vet, supposedly.) He got all his info from Rep. Kmety from Miles City in HB 645. The bill failed in committee 19-1.

Guys like these two try to take our minds away from the important issues facing our state like nursing home care and affordable housing, just to mention a few.

Why do we keep electing them and letting them spread their boogy man ideas? Wake up, Montana – we can do much better.

If you do research like I did you will know that our blood supply is safe, we just need more folks to donate.

I think a retraction is in order from the fellow who has been writing opinions for 20 years in the YCN.
